Oorah: The official yell for the US Marines

As many of you know Jon my Husband is a part of the United States Marines. The first phase of training began with Bootcamp on July 5th 2009. The marine bootcamp is the most intense boot camp of all miliray branches. Bootcamp took place in San Diego, CA at MCRD, Jon was in bootcamp from July 6th, 2009- October 2nd, 2009.

The next phase of his training began on October 13th, 2009. Combat training! This training took palce in Camp Pendleton,CA. He graduated from combat training on November 10th, 2009.

The third and last phase is MOS training.

Military Occupational Specialty

Just hours after combat training Jon was then sent to Twentynine Palms, CA to begin his schooling as a Data Network Specialist. His graduation from this final phase of training will be April 6th, 2010.
